Refund Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
This policy explains what happens if you withdraw from a programme, or if we have to cancel one. Please read it before you pay. The refund terms in your signed enrolment agreement are what govern your particular case, and this page describes our standard position.
Before you pay
Submitting an application costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Payment arises only after you have received a written offer letter and accepted it.
If you withdraw
Requests must be made in writing to admissions@doclearnings.com from the email address on your application. The date we receive your written request is the date used to calculate any refund.
| When we receive your request | Refund of programme fee |
|---|---|
| Before hospital orientation | Full fee refunded, less the non-refundable registration component |
| Within 7 days of orientation | Partial refund as set out in your enrolment agreement |
| After the first 7 days | No refund of the programme fee |
The registration component and the exact partial-refund percentage are stated in your offer letter and enrolment agreement. Confirm both with admissions before you pay.
If we cancel or postpone
If we cancel a programme, or postpone it by more than a reasonable period and you do not wish to take the new dates, you may choose a full refund of everything you have paid, including any registration component, or a transfer to another intake or programme at no additional cost.
If your hospital allotment changes
Where we are unable to provide the partner hospital named in your offer letter and the alternative we offer is not acceptable to you, you may withdraw and receive a full refund of the fees paid for that programme.
Termination for conduct
Where an enrolment is terminated for conduct that endangers patient safety, breaches confidentiality or seriously breaches hospital rules, no refund of the programme fee is payable.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are paid to the original payment source or to the bank account of the person who paid, within the timeline stated in your enrolment agreement. We may ask for bank details in writing and for proof of identity before processing.
Stipend payments
A stipend, where it applies, is paid by the partner hospital for the period you attended. It is not a refundable item and it is not administered by DocLearnings unless your offer letter says otherwise.
Complaints
If you disagree with a refund decision, write to admissions@doclearnings.com setting out why. We will review the decision and respond in writing. Nothing in this policy affects your rights under Indian consumer law.
