This page sets out plainly what our programmes are, and what they are not. We would rather you read it before you apply than after.

Our certificates are professional training certificates

A DocLearnings certificate records that you completed a structured, supervised clinical training programme. It is not a degree. It is not awarded by a university or a statutory medical council. It does not by itself qualify you for registration with any council, and it is not equivalent to a postgraduate medical qualification.

We do not extend your scope of practice

Your legal scope of practice is determined by your qualification, your registration and the law of the state you practise in. Nothing in our programmes changes it. Throughout a programme you work under the supervision of a named clinician and within the limits your qualification and the hospital's policy allow. Completing a programme does not entitle you to practise independently, to prescribe outside your existing entitlement, or to represent yourself as holding a qualification you do not hold.

We do not guarantee employment

Career support is a genuine part of our programmes, and it includes resume guidance, interview preparation and introductions where they exist. It is not a placement guarantee. Any figures published on this site relating to career outcomes describe past cohorts and are not a promise about your result.

Hospital allotment and stipend

Hospital allotment depends on partner capacity at the time of your intake, and your preference cannot be guaranteed. Where a monthly stipend opportunity applies, the amount and terms are set by the partner hospital, not by DocLearnings, and only the figure written in your offer letter should be relied on.

Statistics published on this website describe our programmes as a whole and are not a prediction of any individual result. Learner testimonials are individual experiences, published with consent, and are not representative of every learner.
